CDTA is regularly making improvements to the physical infrastructure in the region on which they operate their mobility services. While many of the largest and most noteworthy investments have been tied to their Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) program, BusPlus, there are other projects which they manage in conjunction with state and local partners.

CDTA and the City of Troy are making improvements in this area, including expanding Liberty Square, creating a new mobility hub, and upgrading the intersections of Hill Street, Liberty Street, and 4th Street to make it safer for all users.
Manning Boulevard Mobility Hub
INTERSECTION OF MANNING BLVD. AND NEW SCOTLAND AVE., ALBANY, NY
CDTA and the City of Albany are transforming the area directly outside of St. Peter's Hospital into a mobility hub that will enhance pedestrian safety and increase transit access for hospital employees and visitors. Improvements include new bus shelters, heated sidewalks, a planted pedestrian island, and an EV charging station.
