About the Project:

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and the City of Troy are making improvements in this area, including expanding Liberty Square, creating a new mobility hub, and upgrading the intersections of Hill Street, Liberty Street, and 4th Street to make it safer for all users.
CDTA and the City of Troy started on this project in 2021 and received input from the Little Italy community throughout the process. This project will complement the City's streetscape improvements recently completed along 4th Street.
To enhance Liberty Square and create the mobility hub, the section of Hill Street between Liberty Street and 4th Street will be closed and traffic patterns will change on both Liberty Street and Hill Street.
