Programs and plans supporting the Bailey Avenue BRT project.
The City of Buffalo, in coordination with the NFTA, is currently working to reconfigure and reconstruct a segment of Bailey Avenue. Working in phases, the project will improve the streetscape, implement green infrastructure, and install traffic calming measures to enhance pedestrian and multi-modal access to the corridor. Phase 1, Winspear Avenue to Kensington Avenue, is currently in design. The City of Buffalo has also secured funding for the segment from Kensington Avenue to E. Delavan Avenue. See the City of Buffalo website for details.
